Introduction
Welcome to the Earth 2 Fan Fiction List. This section of Spirit's Space does not contain fan fiction. It is a reference list of every Earth 2 fan fiction story, poem, and filk of which I am aware. The list contains a lot of information and can be referenced in a variety of ways.
If your name is in this list and you would like me to change your name to an alias, please e-mail me and I will do it as quickly as I can. You wouldn't be the first.
The lists are static. I realize that an interactive database would be better, but we're not that snazzy or well-funded.
This project was started by Anne Kubelik and continued by Chris Ricciardi, who was going to take it down in September 2000. I would never have started this list, myself, but I took it over because the thought of researched information disappearing forever just kills me, and I am, to some extent, an Earth 2 historian. So here we are.
Even now, after so many years have passed, and all the authors have moved on to other things, and almost all the stories have disappeared from the web, I keep this list. We had a great time reading and writing Earth 2 fan fiction. A wonderful, beautiful time. And I would like this information to last.
For the most part, I have left the authors' names, including any aliases in parentheses, as they were when I inherited this list.

I do not link to stories through this list. Such a task would be so monumental it would be impossible. But I feel that my own links page has a pretty good list of Earth 2 fan fiction sites, and there is, of course, my own contribution.
A few notes about the time line I use:
"Before Earth 2" means the events takes place before "First Contact."
The name of an episode means the work takes place during or after that episode. (I place "Natural Born Grendlers" between "Life Lessons" and "Promises, Promises." Here's why.)
"Thawing Devon" means the story deals with reviving Devon in some way, shortly after the events of "All About Eve." If it's long after the events of AAE, the story will be considered "After E2."
"Traveling" means the characters are traveling towards New Pacifica, but no specific time frame is mentioned or is necessary.
"Reaching NP / Colony ship" means the characters are on the verge of arriving at New Pacifica, are actually arriving at New Pacifica, or are dealing with the arrival of the colony ship in some way. This is probably the most vague time frame.
"After E2" is a broad category, also somewhat vague. This could mean the characters have been living in New Pacifica after the arrival of the colony ship for a few days, or it could mean several centuries after the events of Earth 2 (even if the characters never made it to New Pacifica and/or the colony ship never arrived).
"N/A" means that the work's setting was unknown, vague, or inapplicable.
"AU" means the work takes place in an alternate universe. Stories that turn out to be a dream are not alternate universe stories.
Zines
If a work appeared in a zine, that does not mean it isn't also on line somewhere. I don't keep track of whether or not a story which first appeared in a zine is also on line.
Explanation of the different lists
Author View
This displays every story, poem, and filk in the following order:

| Sorted by author, then by story name. (Stories forming a series are kept together.) | |
| 2. | Stories written by two or more authors collaborating |
| Each set of authors contains their names in alphabetical order. This "set name" is what is used for overall sorting. | |
Time Frame View
This displays every story, poem, and filk in chronological order of setting. The possible settings, in this order, are:
- Before Earth 2
- Each episode title in order
- Thawing Devon
- Traveling towards New Pacifica, no particular time frame
- Arriving at New Pacifica, and/or the arrival of the colony ship
- Living in New Pacifica / Years after Earth 2
- Time frame unknown / not applicable
- Alternate Universe
Within each setting, the stories are sorted by author, then by title.

Zines
This is a list of all the Earth 2 zines (any off-line publication) of which I am aware. Sorted by zine title.
Series View
This displays only stories, poems, or filks which form series or are otherwise related as groups. A group of stories is considered a series here, even if the stories within the group are not sequels of each other. Each series is given its own umbrella name, usually the name of the first story if the author didn't make up a name for the series. The stories are displayed in the following order:

This displays only stories, poems, or filks which are crossovers with other TV shows and movies. Sorted identically to the Author View.

This displays only poems and filks. Sorted identically to the Author View.
